Vote for ASCE Texas Section’s 2024-2025 Board of Directors

As we wind down the school year and transition from spring weather to summer, it’s time to compile a list of summer tasks. At the ASCE Texas Section, the first order of business is to vote for your incoming officers who will represent the Executive Committee for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The current officers will conclude their term at the end of September, with the new officers installed during the Friday Annual Business Meeting at the conclusion of the 2024 CECON.

Voting is as integral for a professional organization as it is for local, state, and national elections. It empowers members to participate in the decision-making process, ensuring their voices are heard and contributing to the leadership that guides the organization. Leaders are accountable for their actions and decisions, representing all members’ interests and fostering a sense of community and belonging to work towards common goals.

In essence, voting in a professional organization is vital for promoting transparency, inclusivity, and effective governance. These values are integral to the ASCE Texas Section’s strategic plan.

I encourage you to join the President Elect Candidate Official Forum for the ASCE Texas Section President Elect position on May 30, 2024, at Noon CST. Register in advance Click HERE

Don’t forget to vote between June 1-30. Keep an eye on your email for instructions on casting your vote and supporting the future leaders of the ASCE Texas Section.

Thank you,

Kimberly Cornett PE, CFM, F.ASCE
