At the 2018 ASCE Texas Student Symposium, Eva Schexnider, Global Relations Chair and Past President of the Texas Tech University ASCE Student Chapter, took full advantage of the Symposium Career Fair. She was well prepared and stopped by the booths that interested her, hoping to land some interviews for summer internships. Little did she know she would be hired on the spot when she stopped by the CivilTech Engineering, Inc. booth and talked with ASCE Texas Section Past President, Larry Goldberg PE, Director of Infrastructure at CivilTech Engineering.CivilTech Engineering, Inc. had been searching for summer intern candidates and thought what better what to reach top civil engineering students than to reserve a career fair booth at the Symposium? Larry saw that Eva was a perfect fit and offered her the position immediately. She did a wonderful job over the summer in Houston building her resume and contributing to the CivilTech Water Resources team during her internship.
