Presentation: Greater Houston Port Bureau will be providing a Port 101 Presentation that provides an educational overview of Port Houston and the many various public and private users in the region. The port of Houston is the busiest port in vessel and barge movements and the largest U.S. port by tonnage, with over 200 docks and 270 facilities. The port is also home to the largest petrochemical manufacturing complex in the nation. CAPT Eric Carrero, president of the Port Bureau, will lead an informative session on the port region and ways to become more involved in the maritime business community. This FREE event is open to Port Bureau members, COPRI members and those interested in membership.
