Houston Branch STEM Volunteer Event February

Join the ASCE Houston Branch and the Red Elementary Magnet School in celebrating Houston Engineer’s Week and STEM Week by providing presentations and hands-on activities as an introduction to Civil Engineering for students on February 19.
ASCE Houston is looking for volunteers to participate in part of or all of the event to engage with Pre-K thru 5th Grade students. A presentation will be prepared by ASCE Houston for you to share with the students as well as a prepared activity for you to guide them through. Demo-stations range from 20 min total for the younger students to 30 mins total for the older students. ASCE Houston will briefly meet with volunteers virtually prior to the event to discuss all the details.
